1. "When I complete my instruction, my students will understand and appreciate the ecology of the rainforest.

I would tell him that is too board of an instruction first of all. Then I would probably try and help him rewrite in a weekly formate. Maybe an outline would help. Like a step by step procedure, because there is alot of ground to cover when talking about the rainforest.

2. I don't know why it happens other then maybe that is the easiest way out. Adn if that is the way they see and the reason why, then I think it is hurting the students because they probably know this and it teaches them to use the easiest way out.

3. I am going to be teaching kindergarden, so if we do have to mention the Nile and its importance to ancient Egypt, I would have to first explain where Egypt is and maybe show the pig pretty pictures of the Nile as well.

I really enjoyed this site because I am still very very fresh at the whole teaching thing, I know I want to teach K-5, but I still didn't really know how to put together a lessonplan and all that. This site actually helps you with different ideas on how to write lesson plans, etc.

How Stuff Works Synopsis

The digital camera-

Well, I did think it was a help video, but for me, I have taken a coarse on photography so I knew a good bit, and my big brother is a digital photographer so I have always had his help ever since I bought my first camera. (that was a digital of corse!) But I still like manual cameras too!

How computers work-

I felt very computer illiterate after seeing this one. I guess it never accurd to me how it worked. If I ever needed help, I would always go to my friends and get them to do my 'dirty work'. :)

 My Hobby.

I like to write and paint. I don't really do too many scenary pictures, mainly abstract. I write about my thoughts and opinions. To tell you how to do these hobbies is to simply get paper and pen, pencil, and start writing. And to paint, well, you can paint on anything you want too, and use whatever type paints you love the most!
